Cameron, NC
I love old barns and when I heard about the street artists from New York City and Japan who had been invited to Cameron, NC in 1999 to paint tobacco barns, I was hooked and knew I had to see them for myself. Many of the barns were not in good shape when I was there in 2016 and they are in much worse shape today, so I am very happy that I photographed them when I did. This was very early in my photography journey and these images certainly reflect that, but I am nevertheless very grateful to have them.
